This training will provide an innovative approach to creating parenting plans that combines recognition of the underlying co-parenting dynamics and the needs of children. The training will be presented by Terri Breer, Attorney Mediator, Jenna Flowers, Psy.D, LMFT and Laura McGhee, Attorney Mediator. The training includes Parenting Plan templates and information about the latest co-parenting resources.

Training Curriculum Includes:

  • Understanding the developmental and attachment needs of children from divorce.
  • Strategies and tools for the mediator to use with clients that support identifying needs, foster mutual respect, and reduce conflict.
  • Learn to increase healthy communication between co-parents.
  • Co-parenting typologies identified by Constance Ahrons, Ph.D.
